ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Domino’s Pizza is inviting customers to design a pizza delivery vehicle as part of a national television promotion.
“Part of the excitement of this campaign is that none of us is really sure how the design will end up, or what it will feature,” said Russell Weiner, chief marketing officer of the chain. “But, one thing is certain, we are always striving to get better.”
Design ideas are welcomed online at ultimatedeliveryvehicle.com, and the competitions associated with the promotion will begin Monday, Aug. 13. Overall, the campaign will feature several stages of design competitions, including exterior, packaging, interior and surfacing, with more than $50,000 in prizes.
Domino’s is partnering with Local Motors — a Phoenix-based automobile designer and manufacturer — to execute the promotion.
