WOODBRIDGE, Ont. — Doughbox Woodbridge recently celebrated its grand opening with its signature Pizza 500 Community Event. The first 500 customers enjoyed a two-topping pizza for $3 with 100 per cent of proceeds going to support Shining Through Centre, a recognized leader in the field of autism. The celebration included a ribbon cutting and cheque presentation of $1,500 donated to the centre.
“Opening our Woodbridge location has been a tremendous milestone for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the community’s warm welcome,” says Taimour Sultan, owner of the Woodbridge Doughbox franchise. “Our recent Pizza 500 event was a resounding success, raising $1,500 for Shining Through Centre to support children with autism. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a difference.”
The donation will be directed towards supporting the centre in its mission to enhance the lives of those impacted by autism through compassionate, evidence-based services.
Doughbox opened its Woodbridge, Ont. location on May 31.
