VANCOUVER — DougieDog Hot Dogs’s $100 Dragon Dog wiener has been recognized by the Guinness World Record as the Most Expensive Hot Dog in the World.
“Taking the title away from New York, I feel like we just won the Stanley Cup,” said Dougieluv, DougieDog owner and chief hotdog designer.
The record-breaking Dragon Dog is made with a 100-year-old cognac that costs $2,400 a bottle. It’s topped with lobster and Kobe beef.
The restaurant received the official world-record notification and certificate last week.
