BURLINGTON, Ont. — It’s Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen, with proceeds from each Blizzard sold at participating locations being donated to the Children’s Miracle Network, which raises money for North American children’s hospitals.
“Every year Canadians blow us away with their support for Miracle Treat Day,” said Denise Hutton, vice-president of Marketing for Dairy Queen Canada.
“Last year, Canadians bought a record 600,000 Blizzards and raised more than $2.2 million for Children’s Miracle Network. We hope to top that once again this summer.”
The party got started earlier this week in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto with lead-up events to Miracle Treat Day, but patrons in Regina and Ottawa are donating to the cause today, Aug. 11.
