Druxy’s Roast Beef Recalled Due to Listeria

TORONTO — A recall has been posted for the roast beef served at Druxy’s Famous Deli restaurants due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The product in question is Druxy’s Fresh Deli Revolution brand Seasoned Cooked Roast Beef produced by Erie Meat Products Ltd., which has been sold at Druxy’s locations in Ontario. This product has been portioned and served at these locations without a label or coding. Consumers who are unsure if they have consumed or purchased the affected product are being encouraged to contact the restaurant.

The recall was issued as a result of investigations into Listeria infections linked to the Druxy’s location in Toronto’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has indicated further lab testing is underway to confirm the link.
