TORONTO — Earls Restaurant Group will open two new locations in Toronto over the next two years.

The first location, Earls Sherway, is set to open its doors on Sept. 15, 2021, while the other unit — a flagship Earls in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre — will open in in 2023. The two new locations will mark the group’s 68th and 69th North-American locations.

“At Earls, we’re working to unchain the chain while providing the quality of service our guests look forward to when dining with us,” says Kristin Vekteris, Chief Brand Officer at Earls Restaurant Group. “What that means is every new restaurant is designed for that specific community and customer. From the design of the space to the art on the walls to the food-and-beverage offerings, our newest location was designed specifically for the Sherway location and guests”.

The Sherway location will feature a plant-filled four-season solarium and a 268-seat dining-room. The menu will boast a wide variety of signature dishes, including the Hunan kung pao chicken, Cajun chicken and ribs and the Sante Fe Chicken Salad. New offerings, specific to the new location will include oysters, sushi tacos and a fresh seafood platter.

The beverage menu boasts a robust selection, from cocktails and mocktails to 13 natural wines curated by local sommelier David Stansfield.

Earls has also hired Melissa Grelo, a Canadian TV personality, to be its culinary curator. As part of her role, she will curate a menu of her favourite Earl’s dishes for guest to enjoy.

The design was led by designer Abi Stephans and creative director Elly Chronakis of Earls Restaurant Group. Earls Sherway will feature the art of Tessar Lo, Diana Rosa Latourt, Florence Solis and several other local artists.
