TORONTO — EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace is now open at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto. The terrace has 88 seats and features an open-air kitchen with a stone-fire oven as well as a canopied bar and fireplaces.

“We wanted to provide a place that evokes your own story, where you can enjoy a personalized experience and create memories with your friends, family and colleagues,” says Guillaume Benezech, general manager, Ritz-Carlton Toronto.

EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace’s menu was created by chef Jeff Crump to honour earth-to-table cuisine and features roasted half lobster with tarragon butter, focaccia deluxe and curry lamb shank. For dessert, guests can enjoy the Pineapple Upside Down Cake or Profiteroles filled with milk chocolate ice cream and topped with caramel and chocolate sauce.

“I’m excited to bring guests comfort food with a modern touch, infused with seasonality and thoughtfully-sourced ingredients,” says chef Crump.

The cocktail program, created by Jason Griffin, is divided into three chapters that indicate a moment in time: retrospective, contemporary and prospective. Guests can enjoy a variety of cocktails, including the Mermaid Lagoon, Moment of Zen and Business as Usual.

In addition to its dinner service, EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace offers an express lunch option, live jazz music every Friday, a private lounge with billiards table and private event and dining offerings.
