LAVAL, Que. — Eska is halting its production of glass bottles due to ongoing supply-chain issues. Going forward, Eska’s water bottles will be made from recycled plastic instead.
“While a difficult decision, it also represents an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to eco-responsibility and sustainable practices,” says Michel McArthur, COO and vice-president of Operations at Eska. “More than ever, sustainability has become a primary issue in the community and for our customers. We believe we can make a difference by giving new life to already existing resources, without creating new ones.”
