RICHMOND, B.C. — Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria is once again selling jars of its homemade Campania tomato sauce in support of Mealshare.
All profits from sauce sales will be donated to Mealshare to feed thousands of people and help the non-profit grow in Canada. For every jar sold, one meal will be provided to someone in need in the local community.
“We really enjoyed working with Mealshare last year, and were excited to see the impact they made with the funding,” said Justin Lussier, founder and CEO of Famoso. “It’s been great watching Mealshare grow and helping them where we can along the way.”
Last year, Famoso raised more than $17,000 through its Campania sales, which provided more than 5,000 meals to people in need through Mealshare’s partner charities.
“The Campania program was amazing last year. We were able to work together to provide thousands of meals to hungry people — at a time where giving is close to our hearts,” said Andrew Hall, co-founder of Mealshare.
Famoso’s authentic Campania sauce is available at locations across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario until the end of December, while supplies last.
