Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs Celebrates Fourth National Hot Dog Day In Support of SickKids Foundation

TORONTO — Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs will be hosting its fourth annual National Hot Dog Day on July 22 on the patio of its 326 College Street location.

The restaurant will be giving away free hot dogs between the hours of noon and 7 p.m. and guests can support SickKids Foundation by purchasing a drink, merchandise or making a donation.

“I look forward to this day each year,” says Angelos Economopoulos, owner of Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs. “We get to celebrate our love for hot dogs with our neighbourhood, while donating to a great charity — it truly is the highlight of Fancy Franks’ year.”

At last year’s event, all proceeds went to the Starlight Children’s Foundation and to date, National Hot Dog Day has raised $7,000 for local charities.

All three Fancy Franks locations — 940 Bloor Street West, 453 Queen Street West and 326 College Street — will be collecting donations from July 1 until July 22.
