TORONTO —Toronto’s Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs is set open on Queen Street West in March; it will be the chain’s third unit in the city.

The Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs menu will feature 16 hotdogs ($5.50 to $5.75) such as Frank and the Southern Fancy, topped with barbecue pulled pork and house-made cabbage slaw. Nine poutines will also be on the menu, including Fancy Schmancy, topped with Korean beef ribs, fried egg, grilled onions, squeaky curds, gravy and scallions ($10.75). Other fare includes house-made chili ($5.75), salad ($4.25), milkshakes ($5) and made-to-order mini doughnuts with toppings such as Nutella, cinnamon and strawberry jelly.

“I wanted to bring something new to the city that really changes the way Torontonians see and eat the hotdog,” said Angelos Economopoulos, who opened the first Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs restaurant in 2012. “I am very excited about this new location as well as many more I hope to open in the future.”
