New York — Foursquare, a social media check-in platform has added a new feature – restaurant menus, which may help restaurants attract more guests to their operations based on local search.
The company has partnered with SinglePlatform to share more than 13,000,000 menu items at almost 250,000 restaurants in major U.S. cities.
Foursqure will be able to deliver personalized results based on the user’s food preferences, be it pizza, steak or dessert.
In an official blog, the company said that users would be able to “click through to menus on the right hand side of venue pages that have menu information.” Users would also be able to see a pricing icon.
For now the feature is only available in U.S.
