French Table Wins Rave Reviews

VANCOUVER — Herve Martin, the chef of The French Table restaurant in Vancouver has earned the ‘likes’ of critics and patrons alike, reports the Vancouver Sun.

The new restaurant is a French bistro serving good, affordable, accessible food in a warm and welcoming room. Its menu features French classics such as Coq au vin, Bouillabaisse and Duck confit cassoulet for dinner.  Dessert includes favourites such as Pear almond tart and Tart Tatin.

Chef Martin has worked with some of the most highly respected French chefs including the world-renowned Troisgros brothers at their three-Michelin star restaurant in France, and  Paul Bocuse. He’s also served as chef for the Belgian royal family in Brussels. Before opening, The French Table, Martin was chef and owner at L’Hermitage, a restaurant that closed after 26 years for renovations.

The restaurant is located 3916 Main St., Vancouver.
