Fresh Mobile Bistro Truck Leaves Fredericton

FREDERICTON — The food truck scene may be motoring, but one owner in Fredericton is packing up his truck and travelling west.

Jamie Lynch, who owns Fresh Mobile Bistro, a truck that serves lobster rolls, chicken sliders and frites out of Fredericton’s Northside Market during the winter months, has reportedly been asked to leave by the market’s management after a dispute.

“It has been an amazing year and a half since I first came up with the idea of doing this in Fredericton and I have met so many great people in such a short time,” reads a post by Lynch on Fresh Mobile Bistro’s Facebook page. “I just wanted to say thank you to anyone who has ever stopped by the truck and for all the regulars that came one, two, even three times a week; words cannot describe how much your support means.”

Lynch says he will take some time off before flying west to look for a new location for his food truck in Vancouver and Calgary.
