LOS ANGELES — Canadian-based restaurant brand Freshopened in Los Angeles last week.
Fresh, founded by Ruth Tal, specializes in vegan fare and gluten-free items, with dishes such as quinoa onion rings, salads, juices, grain bowls and mushroom-based gravy in its poutine.
The restaurant in West Hollywood boasts a 5,000-sq.-ft. dining area, featuring two bars, a private dining area upstairs and ample patio space. The opening marks the company’s first location outside of Canada.
Fresh already has five locations in Toronto, including West Queen W. and a newly renovated location on Spadina Ave.
