Freshii CEO Offers Partnership Opportunity to Subway

TORONTO — Freshii founder and CEO, Matthew Corrin has released an open letter to fast-food giant Subway in hopes of working together to open more Freshii locations. In his letter, Corrin says Subway has overextended its reach by opening a total of 44,000 restaurants globally and would instead be better off with about 30,000 locations.

“Let’s explore a partnership in which we together convert select Subway stores to Freshii restaurants in a quick, low-cost way. Let’s continue to change the way the world eats, together,” the letter says. “Over time, we too will open thousands of Freshii restaurants around the world.”

He says the conversion would cost approximately $75,000 with equipment included.
