HALIFAX — Gahan House, a popular East-Coast brewery, has opened a new location in the Nova Centre complex in downtown Halifax.
The new brewery opened June 28, four months after the closure of its original Habourfront location.
Gahan House Nova Centre features upgraded brewing equipment — including 1,000-L feeders — and is much larger than its former Habourfront location. While the beers brewed on site are not yet available on tap, the new brewery is still serving up its core lineup from other Gahan locations, as well as guest taps.
The brewpub also features a full menu with brunch, appetizer, oyster, entrée and dessert options.
