VICTORIA — The Gatsby Mansion Restaurant has just reopened in Victoria with a new executive chef at the helm.
D’Arcy Ladret will lead the kitchen at the mansion restaurant location across from Victoria’s Inner Harbour on Belleville Street.
“I am thrilled to present a menu for the Gatsby Mansion Restaurant that celebrates the harvest from Vancouver Island’s shores, farms and forests — ingredients that have been a part of my life growing up on the coast and will now become the hallmark of my kitchen team’s culinary style,” said Ladret. “We are presenting the best of our region throughout the seasons and are delighted to be featuring many local producers on our menus.”
The menu will include local ingredients such as Qualicum Beach scallops, wild B.C. Morel mushrooms, wild Pacific Coho salmon, Island Farmhouse poultry and locally smoked and cured meats, with menu items ranging from $10 and $22 for lunch and $21 to $34 for dinner. For $32 guests can enjoy Ladret’s take on afternoon tea, including scones, shortcakes, sandwiches, a Loose Tea Menu and more.
The Gatsby Mansion Restaurant is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., afternoon tea from 2 to 4 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 8 p.m.
