George Brown College Creates Chef John Higgins Award of Excellence

TORONTO — Chef John Higgins, director, Enterprise Leadership Culinary & Hospitality Ambassador of the Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts at George Brown College, has retired after more than 20 years. To honour the work of Higgins, a fund and scholarship has been created in his name to recognize his contributions and the countless culinary students he has taught and mentored.

The Chef John Higgins Award of Excellence will support students enrolled in Chef School, Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts. Anyone who donated to the Chef John Higgins scholarship fund will receive a tax receipt for their charitable donation.
