SAINTE-ANNE-DES-MONTS, Que. — Gîte du Mont-Albert, a newly renovated 60-room hotel inside the Gaspésie National Park in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Que., has a new executive chef.

Alain Berthelot has worked in several restaurants and hotels during his career, most recently as executive chef at Manoir St-Castin, in Lac-Beauport, Que. He is a member of the Society of Chefs, Cooks and Confectioners of Quebec (SCCPQ). Berthelot plans to revamp the Gîte du Mont-Albert house menu to incorporate local produce.
