GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, Nfld. — The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor recently hosted the 2nd-Annual Culinary Festival in partnership with Grand Toyota. The event, which is the largest Food Day Canada festival of its kind in Newfoundland and Labrador, was held at the Joe Byrne Stadium on August 18.
The festival featured top Canadian chefs — including Roary MacPherson, Rodney Bowers, Olaf Mertens, Zane Caplansky, Laura Maxwell, Alida Solomon, Simon Smotkowicz, Todd Perrin, Scott Morash, John Higgins and Carmelo Vadacchio — each of whom created food experiences featuring locally sourced food at more than 10 culinary stations.
