TORONTO — Acclaimed chef Jonathan Gushue is assuming the role of director of Culinary Operations at Toronto’s Queen Margherita Pizza, taking the lead at the banner’s current three locations and the group’s new downtown restaurant, which is set to open in 2014.
“It’s going to be great to join such a forward-thinking organization with a commitment to good food and doing good for the city of Toronto,” said Jonothan Gushue as quoted by CityBites in an interview.
Gushue made news last year when he disappeared on New Year’s Eve. Last week, it was announced that he was leaving Cambridge, Ont.’s renowned Langdon Hall after eight years and numerous culinary awards and accolades.
