RICHMOND, B.C. — Popular Chinese hot-pot chain, Haidilao Hot Pot, is set to open its first Canadian location next month, according to the Georgia Straight.
Located in Richmond, B.C., the restaurant will offer a communal dining experience and a menu featuring sliced meats, fish balls, veggies and spicy broths made with mostly local ingredients.
The chain boasts more than 80 locations in China, as well as outposts in Japan, South Korea, the U.S., and Singapore. The brand is known for its unique take on customer service, offering free services and entertainment such as manicures and board games to guests waiting for tables.
