Heritage Parts Canada Is Now Online

TORONTO — Heritage Parts Canada — provider of replacement parts for commercial-kitchen equipment — has launched HeritageParts.ca, the first eCommerce website developed specifically for the Canadian foodservice industry.

The introduction of the dual-language website expands customers’ options to buy parts and access technical information. The online store offers the ability to transact in Canadian currency, without duties or fees. The site is also interconnected with Heritage’s Canadian-based CSRs, enabling customers to interact online.

For those customers in the Toronto area, the eCommerce site offers “Counter Pick Up” as a purchase option, allowing customers to order online and pick parts up at the distribution center.

Customers can view high-definition, rotatable parts images with Heritage’s Expert ID360 viewer. HeritageParts.ca shows real-time parts inventory and calculates exact shipping costs. Other information includes parts specifications, “fits model” links, weights, dimensions and an easy-access library of thousands of equipment manuals, parts diagrams and schematics.

“Developing an online presence, specifically for Canada, was crucial,” says John T. McDonough, Heritage Foodservice Group president and CEO. “The Canadian market is unique. Simply extending a U.S. site to Canada does not wholly address the needs of our customers. HeritageParts.ca was created to give customers every possible option for researching and purchasing parts that meet those needs. Whether online, via phone or through email, Canadian customers have true 24/7 access to what they need, when they need it.”
