SAN FRANCISCO — Four Seasons, Starbucks and Marriott Hotels are among a list of hospitality companies named by their employees in the U.S.-based Fortune magazine’s list of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” in 2012.

“This honour is tremendously meaningful for me because it speaks to the loyalty of our truly inspired employees and their endorsement of our efforts to create a positive and innovative work environment,” said Kathleen Taylor, president and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

“Our people are the driving force of our business, and I’sd like to thank each of them not only for recognizing us once again, but for the passion and imagination they bring to their jobs each day to ensure that every guest leaves feeling wowed.”

Other hospitality companies that made the list include the Orlando, Fla.-based Darden Restaurant Group and IHG.

The survey — which is conducted by the U.S.-based human resources consulting and research company Great Place to Work — is filled out by more than 10-million employees annually and worldwide. The HR company surveys employees of well-known multinationals and small start-ups.
