TORONTO — The Food Network’s Chuck Hughes is considering opening a Toronto restaurant.
During a recent visit to Toronto, the Canadian told reporters: “This city needs a little Garde Manger” — a reference to his highly successful Montreal eatery.
The chef just opened Le Bremner, his second Montreal restaurant, in the summer but is thinking about launching a third to serve the Greater Toronto Area.
Hughes will be in Toronto Nov. 26 for a cancer benefit with “Iron Chef” Bobby Flay and several Canadian chefs, including Lynn Crawford and Mark McEwan.
