TORONTO — The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario Canada (ICCO Canada) has announced the 22nd edition of its annual Business Excellence Awards (BEA).
For more than 60 years, ICCO Canada has been a driving force in fostering a dynamic environment of collaboration and strategic partnerships between Italy and Canada by actively promoting trade and cultural exchange initiatives between the two nations.
This year, the gala holds special significance as it honours the memory of the late executive director, Corrado Paina, who was instrumental in the success of the BEA for all these years. Throughout his tenure, Corrado dedicated his life to serving the Italian-Canadian community, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
“The 2024 BEA is a testament to Corrado’s lasting influence. His unwavering commitment to fostering Italian-Canadian collaboration does and will continue to blossom. This year’s winners would make him immensely proud. Their innovative spirit embodies his vision which serves as a constant source of inspiration for ICCO Canada’s initiatives, like the CAMERA project,” says Tony Altomare and Pat Pelliccione, co-presidents of ICCO Canada.
This year’s gala, presented by Air Canada and PSP Services, will once again recognize leaders, who continue to raise the bar and set new industry standards.
