TORONTO — Iconink is opening a second location of its Byblos Restaurant & Lounge in Toronto. Byblos Uptown will feature the brand’s award-winning Eastern-Mediterranean menu and will occupy the space of recently closed North 44.
“In 2014 we launched Toronto’s first Byblos location and continue to see a great response to the uniquely curated space, service and menu,” says Charles Khabouth, chairman, Iconink. “We wanted to expand our reach in the city and open a location in Toronto’s north end.”
“This is a new market in Toronto for us to explore,” adds Hanif Harji, CEO, Iconink. “Guests in this area are ready for something fresh and new following North 44’s impressive 28-year tenure and will appreciate the sophisticated culinary experience Byblos offers.”
Design firm Studio Munge will create the space, which is scheduled to open this winter.
