IDDBA 2023 – Partners in Success

IDDBA 2023 is also a unique opportunity to connect with small business owners and hear about their challenges and triumphs. “There are many ways we are helping members and exhibitors tell their story throughout the show, from presentations, scheduled one-on-one meetings, and video resources,” says Whitney Atkins, VP of Marketing.

Del’s Pastry, a successful North-American supplier of baked goods including cinnamon buns, danishes, and apple strudel, is just one of many examples of how the IDDBA Show can help businesses survive and thrive. When a fire burned the bakery’s facility to the ground, they looked to the IDDBA 2022 Show as the ideal opportunity to relaunch itself in the marketplace.

“Being in the show allowed them to network and garner business that helped them land back on their feet,” says Atkins. “The Del’s Bakery story is just one of many exhibitors and visitors at the IDDBA Show are happy to share. This event is one of several ways IDDBA can help our members tell their story, whether it’s about triumphing over adversity, sharing best practices, or gaining insight into what consumers will be demanding in the months to come.”

The key value of the show is the opportunity to bring people together in person to engage the senses, she adds. “We lost the ability to do that over the last couple of years. How do you go about engaging the senses of your customers and bring alive the in-store shopping experience when you can’t taste, feel, smell, or see how a product is packaged? How do you bring the instore shopping experience to life? And how do you build successful ecommerce platforms? IDDBA members will find those answers at this year’s show.”
