MONCTON — A new strategic plan is helping Imvescor Restaurant Group achieve higher same-store sales while revamping its stores across Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Quebec.
According to its recent third-quarter report, the Moncton-based franchisor of Pizza Delight, Trattoria di Mikes, Scores and Bâton Rouge saw improved results including same-restaurant sales growth of 1.2 per cent, an improvement of 4.3 per cent compared to the same quarter last year, and a one-per-cent growth in system sales.
“Our third quarter results demonstrate the potential and early momentum of our strategic plan, which focuses on growing same restaurant sales, rationalizing expenses, rejuvenating our restaurants and increasing franchisee network profitability,” said Frank Hennessey, president and CEO of Imvescor.
Imvescor is offering up to $5.5 million towards franchisee capital renovation costs, which will go towards revamping guest-facing areas. To date, 84 franchisees have expressed interest in the renovation program. The team plans to renovate at least 100 of its locations by the end of 2018.
