Industry Leaders Honoured by NAFEM

ORLANDO, Fla.— Fifty-three industry leaders where awarded a Doctorate of Foodservice (DFS) by the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) during The NAFEM Show, Feb. 10, at the Orange County Convention Center in Florida.

The accolade recognizes elected leaders of major foodservice industry associations for their commitment to their organizations and the industry on the whole.

“NAFEM is pleased to recognize the accomplishments of this year’s DFS honorees,” said Steven Follett, NAFEM president and CEO, president, and chairman of the Follett Corporation. “Their efforts and dedication to the betterment of the associations they represent, and the collective hospitality industry, is truly valued.”

The long list of DFS honourees includes Michael Ty of the American Culinary Federation, Maureen Hurley of the Women’s Foodservice Forum and Rick Boone of the Retail Bakers of America.
