TORONTO — Jack Astor’s has embarked on an Ontario food-truck tour to promote its new menu items by offering free samples in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and London.

“This is a really exciting opportunity for Jack Astor’s Band of Chefs to literally hit the road and share our delicious new creations with everyone who visits the truck. It’s our surprising and decidedly Jack Astor’s irreverent way of sampling our new menu items with guests,” said Lauren Michell, VP of Marketing, SIR Corp.

The campaign is integrated with a “Tweet-to-Taste” program that invites Twitter users to tweet their location, including a hashtag, to @jack_astors. If the tweet is selected, Jack Astor’s will make the user location the next stop. Further online engagement is supported via Facebook and digital ads.

The food truck will feature an array of uniquely named offerings such as Betta with Feta Guacamole, Junk Boat Chicken and One Really, Really Big Meatball.

Live coverage of future food truck events can be found @jack_astors.
