Jack Astor’s Launches 11 New Bowls and Salads

TORONTO — Jack Astor’s has launched 11 new internationally inspired bowls and salads. The items are currently available across the Greater Toronto Area and are set to be rolled out across Canada by January 2020.

“The launch of our new bowls and salads are a direct response to evolving consumer trends towards more fresh, health-conscious options with an added boost of internationally inspired flavours,” says Peter Fowler, CEO, SIR Corp.

The new bowls and salads were developed by Jack Astor’s vice-president of Culinary Development, Gordon Mackie, and executive chef of Menu Development, Jun Geem.

The new offerings include:

  • The Tuna Poké Bowl
  • The Thai Coconut Bowl 
  • The Korean Rice Bowl
  • The Pad Thai Noodle Bowl
  • The Honey Sesame Stir-Fry Bowl
  • The Mexican Chicken Bowl 
  • The Miso-Glazed Salmon Bowl 
  • The Singapore Slaw
  • The Buddha Salad
  • The Harvest Salad
  • The Mexican Salad

The salads and bowls start at $10.97 per serving and 490 calories.
