TORONTO — Jacob’s Creek has released its latest Moscato in Ontario, just as the varietal continues to garner attention as a hot new wine.

Derived from the Muscat grape, the easy-drinking wine is ideal for patio season. “With attractive, tropical and white peach aromas with undertones of honeysuckle and lemon, this light and refreshing wine is vibrant with sherbet-like flavours, balanced with lively and soft-fruit sweetness,” said Rae Craig, senior brand manager, Wines for Corby Distilleries Limited, who is marketing Jacob’s Creek wine.

The new Moscato is expected to roll out across Canada this spring and summer in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and Newfoundland.

Jacob’s Creek was founded in 1847; its wine is sold in more than 60 countries.
