Jamie Kennedy Returns to the Cookbook World

TORONTO — Celebrated chef Jamie Kennedy has released his first cookbook in more than a decade.

Kennedy’s third book, J.K. The Jamie Kennedy Cookbook, is published by HarperCollinsCanada and includes recipes, stories and memories from Kennedy’s four decades as a chef. In this latest project, Kennedy reveals much about his life’s work, his challenges and successes, and his pursuit to define and celebrate Canada’s culinary character.

The photographs are largely reportage style, covering numerous events and behind-the-scenes action from Jamie’s Gilead Café & Wine Bar and his farm, Pleasant Valley Farm, in Hillier, Prince Edward County, Ont.

The book is available online, in stores and at Gilead Café & Wine Bar in Toronto.
