TORONTO — Jen Agg recently announced on Instagram that she, along with Jake Skakun, David Greig and chef James Santon, are set to open a new restaurant in September. The new restaurant will take over the space that once housed shuttered Toronto icon, Swan Restaurant, in the Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood.
Dubbed Le Swan, Agg has indicated that the new project will be a “French diner” offering a combination of French-bistro classics and diner fare, such as rotisserie chicken, meat loaf, steak frites and hot sandwiches.
With the Black Hoof closing at the end of August, Agg told Eater that the staff from this restaurant will be transplanted to Le Swan.
