RICHMOND HILL, Ont. — JL International is pleased to announce the arrival of teapigs Premium Whole Leaf tea in Canada.
Based on the belief that there’s a world of quality teas to be discovered, savoured and enjoyed, teapigs was founded in the United Kingdom in 2006. Thanks to JL International, Canadian tea lovers can now discover this line of premium whole leaf teas.
Teapigs vows to only sell teas of the highest quality, taking tea beyond the standard “cuppa.” Tea Taster and co-founder Louise has handpicked a select range that offers a discovery into the wonderfully diverse world of tea.
Unlike regular tea bags, which can be squished, teapigs uses only the finest whole leaves, herbs, fruit pieces and flowers. All ingredients are carefully blended together and served in a biodegradable tea temple, a roomy, biodegradable mesh bag that offers the space whole leaves need to infuse properly.
Teapigs will be available to foodservice accounts in May, 2013.
