Our relationship with food is a multi layered and complex one. While at its core, food is sustenance it’s also a reflection of who we are, an expression of our cultural ties and also a source of entertainment, inspiration, and fashion. And, through the lingering pandemic of the past two years, food has also taken on different overtones, new complexities and increased importance. This month’s July Food Issue of Foodservice and Hospitality examines all things food – from the purveyors and producers who supply it to the chefs and cooks who prepare it and bring it to the table.
