VANCOUVER — Just Kitchen Holdings Corp.has opened multiple ghost-kitchen locations in Hong Kong, including two stalls in the 10-stall Yuen Long, a shared commercial-kitchen facility, and a site within an office tower in Kwun Tong.

Each stall offers three food brands: one is focused on the Body Fit, Formosa Chang, and BIT beef noodle menus, while the other offers Mr. Beast, Little Mario’s Pizza and Inluck Taiwanese cuisine.

The company also opened another location and a local Vietnamese Bánh Mì Kitchen (BMK) in the Citi Tower building in the Kwun Tong area in mid-July.

Additionally, the company has appointed Foodpanda’s former head of Kitchens & Concepts, Ryan Ching, as managing director. Ching brings more than 15 years of experience in customer-experience design, digital transformation, business planning, and product optimization across worldwide digital, physical and financial products.

Lastly, JustKitchen has secured a commercial kitchen (Hub) in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. The Hub serves as a spoke for the company and is the first in-house production line to achieve food cost reductions under 30 per cent of net sales and is on track to reach 25 per cent by the end of the year.

“We are excited to expand our footprint with more ghost kitchens in Hong Kong. It is a growing market for JustKitchen, and we have learned a tremendous amount from our existing locations about the region and the consumers there,” says Jason Chen, co-founder and CEO of JustKitchen. “Adding Ryan to the JustKitchen team is also exciting as his knowledge and experience in the app-driven foodservice sector in Hong Kong is expected to be quite valuable.”
