TORONTO — KFC is bringing back its best-selling and bun-less sandwich, the Double Down, which features bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and a special sauce between two crispy chicken fillets.
The Double Down made its first appearance in October 2010 and was an instant success, with more than 250,000 sold in its first two weeks on the market.
“Double Down fans have spoken, and we’re more than happy to give the people what they want,” says Katherine Bond-Debicki, Chief Marketing Officer, KFC Canada. “We’re thrilled to bring it back for a limited time, giving original fans and newcomers alike a chance to get their hands on this iconic sandwich. The Double Down lives in a category of its own.”
The Double Down is available until Nov. 7, 2021, or while supplies last, at KFC locations across Canada as well as on UberEats and SkipTheDishes.
