VAUGHAN, Ont. — KFC Canada today is piloting Google’s food-ordering feature across Google Search, Google Maps and Google Assistant.

Any time a Canadian searches for KFC on Google Search or Google Maps, a new ‘order-online’ button will appear, which will bring them to their local KFC’s website and menu to place an order for delivery or pickup and pay without ever leaving the Google platform.

“We want to make every KFC order easy for our customers,” says Jason Cassidy, Marketing director, KFC Canada. “We’re excited to work with Google on its innovative food-ordering platform and believe it gives customers the frictionless experience they’re looking for.”

Customers can also order with Google Assistant on Android and iOS phones by saying “Hey Google, order food from KFC” to start an order or “Hey Google, order food again from KFC” to quickly reorder their go-to meals.
