TORONTO — Helping Canadians get into the spirit of Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations, KFC Canada is changing its name to K’ehFC for the summer months.

The K’ehFC name change will be featured on a new sign at the company’s first Canadian location on 8th Street in Saskatoon, Sask.

“K’ehFC has proudly embraced its Canadian roots for 62 years, from our iconic red-and-white style, to our friendly, neighbourly presence from coast-to-coast,” says Stephen Scarrow, senior Marketing manager, Advertising and Media, K’ehFC. “We want customers to feel the same strong appreciation for Canada that we have since 1955.”

The new name will also appear on newly designed chicken buckets. The company is also marking its name change with online giveaways through its social media channels, as well as an updated website adorned with the K’ehFC logo.
