TORONTO — Kinka Family has introduced Kinton Ramen Express, a new concept focused on serving customers who prefer takeout, home delivery and grab-and-go options.
The Express locations ensure that, despite the faster service, the customization options and high-quality ingredients remain a priority, maintaining the same standard that Kinton Ramen is known for.
“This new concept from Kinka Family allows us to deliver the Kinton Ramen dining experience in a quicker, more casual setting,” says Karalyn White, senior director of Franchise Development at Kinka Family, the parent company of Kinton Ramen. “People value their time, and Kinton Express seamlessly combines efficiency with the premium quality and affordability that our customers have come to expect.”
Kinton Ramen Express will offer a faster way to get classic Kinton Ramen menu items, thanks to self-serve kiosks. The Express locations will have a limited seating area and no table service. The flagship location is at 1 Richmond St. W. in Toronto and is set to open on September 5.
The Kinton Ramen Express concept can occupy units as small as 1,000 sq. ft., or even 500 to 600 sq. ft. for food-court locations. This flexibility opens various options and unlocks new markets for the brand.
“We have a fantastic opportunity to broaden our reach by expanding into high-traffic areas,” says White. “We’re looking at locations that are bustling with people who are often pressed for time and may not have the luxury to enjoy a full sit-down meal.”
Kinton Ramen Express is a key component of Kinton Ramen’s broader expansion strategy. Currently, there are more than 40 Kinton Ramen locations spread across Canada, the U.S. and Japan. The addition of Kinton Ramen Express is driving further growth, with new outlets opening throughout Canada.
