TORONTO — Growing Japanese restaurant, Kinka Izakaya, opened its fourth Greater Toronto Area (GTA) location on November 30.

The grand opening of the 110 Harbour Street location was commemorated with free towels and mugs for customers, as well as menu specials.

Kinka Izakaya falls under the umbrella of Kinka Family Inc., which also owns Kintori Yakitori, Kinton Ramen and other concepts.

The Kinka Izakaya menu boasts traditional Japanese flavours with a set menu, featuring takoyaki, Gyu carpaccio, karaage and more for groups of two or more ($35/person). The drink menu is expansive and features traditional Japanese beverages with a flare, including sake, shochu and signature shooters, such as the Samurai Bomb ($15), Cheery Blossom ($8.30), Lychee Mojito ($8.50) and the Nashi Saki High Ball ($9.30).

Later this month the Kinka Family Restaurant Group plans to open a Kinton Ramen next door to its new Kinka Izakaya.
