MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — La Prep will open a new Toronto location on September 10 near Eglinton Avenue and Don Mills Road. The opening is part of the brand’s continued expansion within Ontario.
“We’re excited to open our 26th location in Toronto,” says Naveen Seth, CEO, La Prep. “Customers are really embracing our Social Bistro concept and we’re proud to give them more opportunities to find their own balance with fresh, healthy meals.”
La Prep launched its Social Bistro concept last July with the opening of a new location in Richmond Hill, Ont., replacing its previous Daily Fresh tagline. Social Bistro branding will be reserved for La Prep locations with seating. The tagline is meant to better reflect the chain’s diverse menu of fresh foods and sophisticated bistro environment.
Social Bistro locations showcase clean, upscale design, featuring warm, bright colours, comfortable seating and displays that accentuate the bistro’s fresh sandwiches, salads, hot meals, baked goods and signature beverages.
As part of the rebranding effort, La Prep has created a new 7,500-sq.-ft. commissary kitchen, where executive R&D chef Richard Chambers and his culinary team develop fresh, flavourful recipes to match the Social Bistro concept and differentiate the chain from its competitors.
La Prep expects to continue significant expansion under its new branding. Seth has set his sights on doubling the chain’s 50 restaurants across Canada in four years.
