TORONTO — Lactalis Canada has appointed Aamir Asgarali to the position of VP, Ingredients & Exports (I&E).
In this role, Asgarali is responsible for driving the company’s I&E strategy to service a global market, lead the team and identify innovative ways to further build on the success of the I&E business within the dairy industry.
He joined Lactalis Canada in 2016 as the manager, Sales Development within I&E before being promoted to director, Commercial & Trade in 2021. Prior to joining the company, he served in the public sector in various capacities at the Canadian Dairy Commission and Ministry of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
Asgarali replaces Janice Cox who will be commencing an extended transition plan with the intent to retire in the summer of 2025 following more than 30 years of service to Lactalis Canada.
