SUDBURY, Ont. — On June 27, Lactalis Canada held an event to celebrate the re-opening of its Sudbury, Ont. site, which is home to the company’s new plant-based Enjoy! Brand. The event included an employee celebration and festivities, a tree planting ceremony and remarks from president and CEO Mark Taylor, as well as other company executives, government and community partners.

The Sudbury, Ont. facility was a fully operational milk processing plant for six decades. In 2022, Lactalis Canada began renovation to convert the site into a 33,150-sq.-ft. plant-based facility. The facility re-opened in April 2024.
