Lanterra Developments Announces New Restaurant

TORONTO — Lanterra Development, led by Chairman Mark Mandelbaum and president and CEO Barry Fenton, has announced that upscale restaurant, Salt Grass & Rare, will be part of the luxury residences 50 Scollard in Yorkville upon completion mid-2025. Restaurateurs Michael Dabic and Derek Von Raesfeld, known for The Butcher Chef, Oliver’s Steakhouse and Michael’s On Simcoe, will bring this new culinary destination to Yorkville as a fine-dining establishment.

Salt Grass & Rare will feature a modern dining room, bar and lounge, and grand terrace within a green space with water features. The restaurant will be designed by a collaboration between Forma Officium Architects and the restaurant group’s in-house design team. The menu will be led by chef Derek Von Raesfeld.
