MONTREAL — Montreal’s Le Burger Week is going national, with this year’s event taking place across six provinces, eleven cities and close to 400 restaurants.

“Every year, we aim to bring Le Burger Week to a new level, which is why we are very proud to be undertaking one of the biggest burger festivals in the world [by taking] Le Burger Week across Canada,” says Thierry Rassam, co-founder of Le Burger Week.

From Sept. 1 to 7, restaurants across Canada — including those in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Vancouver and Cornwall, Ont. — will have customers determine their city’s best burgers. Participating restaurants will offers a special “burger price”, where burger aficionados are encouraged to come eat and vote on the burgers they ate — judging them across a variety of categories at leburgerweek.com, which goes live on September 1.

At the end of the festival, the winner in each of the following categories will be announced: Voted Best, Judge’s Choice, Most Outrageous and Healthiest Burger.

This year, Le Burger Week has also teamed up with Skip The Dishes and Just Eat to allow customers to experience Le Burger Week in their homes.
