TORONTO — Greenleaf Foods, SPC, the owner of the Lightlife brand, has partnered with Pizza Pizza to bring Lightlife plant-based chicken to Pizza Pizza’s menu.
“Lightlife is excited to partner with Pizza Pizza to offer consumers something they can enjoy without compromise: a delicious and satisfying breaded plant-based chicken made with simple ingredients they can feel good about,” says Dan Curtin, president of Greenleaf Foods, SPC.
The menu items that will be using the plant-based chicken are:
- Plant Based Chick’n Sandwich: a meat-free sandwich that comes topped with pickles and vegan mayonnaise, available in classic or spicy.
- Plant-Based Chick’n Bites: bite-sized Chick’n pieces that come in packs of 10 or 20
- Plant-Based Combo Box: comes with 16 Chick’n bites plus a choice of two more items, including: fries, potato wedges, onion rings,or sweet-potato fries

The new items will be available at more than 400 Pizza Pizza restaurants across the country.
